Heidi Scanlon is the Director of New Jersey School of Reiki and is a certified Reiki Master of the Usui White Light lineage. Since 2000 she has helped many people of all ages with a variety of concerns. Seeing remarkable transformations in client’s lives and even her own through Reiki has fueled the desire to bring the knowledge of this healing art to the general population on a broader scale. Heidi is the primary Reiki Instructor at NJ School of Reiki. She shares a wealth of knowledge and experience with her students. Her goal is to provide confident and knowledgeable practitioners helping to create a happier, healthier and more balanced planet.
Dr. Ken Freedman is the director of the Freedman Chiropractic Center, a multidisciplinary facility dedicated to improving lives through better energy, better nutrition and better peace of mind. Since 1979, Dr. Freedman has served thousands of adults and children by combining loving care with state-of-the-art analytical procedures and personalized self-help information. Since 1992, Dr. Freedman has served on the East Brunswick Advisory Health Council. He has served as its president since 2007.
A distinguished honors undergraduate of Rutgers College, Dr. Freedman received his doctor of chiropractic degree with multiple honors from New York Chiropractic College (NYCC). After graduation, he was an associate professor at NYCC for two years, instructing chiropractic analysis and technique. His love of teaching, clinical expertise and his interest in helping others have enabled Dr. Freedman to develop a menu of creative, entertaining and informative presentations on a variety of health-related topics. He is sought after for his programs by many companies and organizations, including Mobil, PSE&G, Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, the United States Olympic Field Hockey Team, and public schools in Edison, Metuchen and East Brunswick. Dr. Freedman has appeared as a wellness trends expert on MSNBC, News 4 New York, WABC Eyewitness News, News 12 New Jersey, and East Brunswick Public Access.
